Senior Group Financial Controller
Turn your IFRS expertise into business impact. Grow your expertise in reporting and consolidation, while shaping the function.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Group Financial Controller to join our Reporting team where you'll have real ownership of critical reporting activities while contributing to the future development of our finance function.
In this role, you will be at the heart of our external reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across our entities, from quarterly and annual financial statements to reporting to external stakeholders.
Beyond the core reporting responsibilities, you'll support the implementation of IFRS 18 ahead of its 2027 effective date, giving you the opportunity to influence how we work going forward.
You will be part of our Finance function, reporting directly to the Head of Group Reporting and working closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider business. The position is based in Hellerup, Denmark.
As many of our colleagues will be away during the summer holiday period, first-round interviews will start in week 34 (from 17 August). We still encourage you to apply early, as we review applications on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare quarterly and yearly reporting of financial statements under IFRS and Årsregnskabsloven (ÅRL)
Prepare audit materials and act as a key point of contact for the auditors during the audit process
Drive group consolidation and intercompany eliminations for quarterly and annual financial statements
Prepare and review statutory financial statements for approximately 40 Danish entities
Execute technical IFRS adjustments at group level, including IFRS 16 (leases), asset dismantling provisions, and cost capitalisation
Prepare financial reporting for the Board of Directors
Compile and deliver reporting to external stakeholders
Support the implementation of IFRS 18 and ensure smooth transition ahead of the 2027 effective date
Prepare Group cash flow reporting
Identify and contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes, templates, and strengthen the internal controls within the reporting function
About you:
3–5 years of experience as a Financial Controller or Auditor
A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (e.g. HD(R), cand.merc.aud. or equivalent)
Solid experience with financial reporting, consolidation, and intercompany eliminations
Strong knowledge of IFRS and the Danish Financial Statements Act (Årsregnskabsloven)
A structured and detail-oriented approach with a high level of accuracy
Ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality work under reporting deadlines
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
