Senior Associate, Executive Office
About the Role:
Nordic Solar is looking for an organised and driven Senior Associate, Executive Office, who wants to work closely with strategy, grow alongside a fast-moving company, and play a key role in shaping how the organisation operates from within.
This is a role that goes beyond traditional Executive Office work, you will sit at the table where decisions are made, and overtime shape your role and responsibilities. You will prepare and own materials for board meetings, management meetings and the annual general meeting, write minutes, track strategic initiatives, and participate directly in ongoing strategy development. You will manage the board portal and coordinate across the leadership team, and over time take ownership of independent strategic projects of your own. The role offers a platform to build deep business acumen, gain exposure to executive decision-making, and grow fast in an organisation that values ambition and quality.
You will work closely with the full leadership team and report directly to our CEO, Nikolaj Holtet Hoff, who leads with trust, openness and enjoys giving his team a high degree of autonomy, while expecting strong quality and performance in return. The role is based at our headquarters in Hellerup, Copenhagen, where you will be part of a collaborative, high-energy team committed to driving the energy transition forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and coordinate high-quality materials for board meetings, management meetings, the annual general meeting, and other key forums.
Write accurate and well-structured minutes for board meetings.
Own and manage the board portal, keeping it current and well-organised at all times.
Participate actively in ongoing strategy development alongside the CEO and leadership team.
Track and maintain a clear overview of strategic initiatives across the organisation, ensuring timely follow-up.
Develop and coordinate materials for the annual general meeting from end to end, in collaboration with our Head of Investor Relations.
Lead independent strategic projects as your scope and confidence within the role grow.
Support the CEO and leadership team with a range of ad hoc tasks as they arise — with calendar management making up a small part of the overall workload.
About You:
We are looking for someone who combines ambition with strong executional discipline. You thrive in an environment that is fast-paced and varied, and you take real pride in the quality of your output.
More specifically, you bring:
A master's degree — for example in economics , business or finance with strong academic results.
Experience from a relevant student position or 1–2 years of full-time work after graduation; prior Executive Assistent or strategy-support experience is an advantage.
A structured and detail-oriented mindset paired with the ability to maintain a broad strategic overview.
You are self-driven and proactive, taking initiative and ownership whenever you see opportunities to add value.
Adaptable and comfortable navigating a dynamic environment where priorities can shift.
Genuinely ambitious about your own output and development, and eager to grow alongside a company on the move.
A collaborative spirit and the interpersonal skills to work effectively with people at all levels of the organisation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Danish and English, with confidence in producing professional materials.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint at a high level.
Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or Claude, and the ability to apply them effectively in everyday tasks.
