Tax Specialist
Join our renewable energy company as Tax Specialist. Work with Danish tax, reporting, compliance and M&A-related structuring in a dynamic team.
Are you experienced in Danish corporate tax and interested in working in an international renewable energy group? We are looking for a Tax Specialist to join our Group Tax Team in a permanent role.
About the position:
As a Tax Specialist, you will work with corporate income tax compliance, tax accounting, and tax planning, partnering closely with the Head of Tax and stakeholders across finance, legal, and operations.
This is a permanent position within the Tax function. Due to ongoing transaction, restructuring, and intercompany activity, the role will also include selected administrative corporate governance and documentation-related legal support tasks. These tasks are operational in nature, closely linked to tax-driven structures, and do not involve legal advisory responsibilities.
What we're looking for:
Core Tax Responsibilities
Prepare quarterly and year-end tax provisions, including support with the drafting of the relevant tax notes for the Group’s annual statements.
Perform quarterly and year-end tax accounting, reconciliations and forecasting of the Group tax rate.
Provision of tax entries and disclosures for Group and subsidiary financial statements.
Support internal and external audits.
Contribute to continuous automation and process improvement initiatives across tax-related projects.
Maintain relevant documents, including transfer pricing documentation, policy, and intercompany flows.
Assist with tax-efficient structuring for acquisitions, divestments, reorganizations.
Support tax aspects of due diligence, post-deal integration, capital contributions, and debt-to-equity conversions.
Legal / Documentation Support
Coordinate annual updates, onboarding, and termination of intercompany administration agreements.
Support documentation related to internal restructurings and capital contributions and debt to equity conversions.
Assist with collection and organization of legal documentation for data rooms in connection with acquisitions, reorganisations and divestments.
Maintain the Group legal structure chart and intercompany administration documentation overviews.
Support our transaction teams in relation to closing and post-closing documentation coordination.
About you:
Relevant master’s degree in tax, accounting, economics, law or similar.
3-5 years of corporate tax experience, including strong exposure to Danish tax.
Background from a public accounting firm is preferred.
Structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across Tax, Finance, and Legal.
Collaborative team player with a pragmatic, business-oriented mindset.
Driven and positive attitude that translates across the team.
